What type of agreement to you recommend for three people publishing a book with each one paying one-third of expenses and receiving one-third of the royalties.

A properly drafted written contract that thoroughly explains the rights and obligations of all parties. If this is a serious project, with potential for substantial investment and return, then do it right so there are no unresolved issues to dispute once the money rolls in. A little spent now on attorney fees is a bargain compared to a lot spent later on litigation. If serious about doing this right, feel free to contact me.
