Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
Bankruptcy
I was in a chapter 13 bankruptcy. and had it dismissed due to buying a home. The only thing out of my entire debts that were included in the bankruptcy was my car and the IRS. All the credit cards debits were not included. But after the dismissal they have started to call me. What is the statue of limitations for them to continue to call me?

Re: Bankruptcy
The statute of limitation on most credit cards is 4 years from the breach, or the last payment, whichever is later. However, there might be an issue of the statute being tolled (i.e. stopped from running) during the time of the bankruptcy. Or at least the creditors might argue that point.
