Legal Question in Business Law in California
I am 18 percent partner of a corporation and my husband is 15 percent
. Together we are one third ownweship of the corporation. My husband and I will be divorcing and he is threatening to have the other partners agree to force me out. There is no buyout prenup in the corporation documentation. Can he do this?

The corporation is a different matter than the divorce. You would have to look at the corporate charter, and bylaws, to determine what can be done and what can't. To be blunt, you are a minority shareholder, it is very possible to change rules and regulations within the company without your consent.
