Legal Question in Business Law in California
I am trying to get out of a 2 year contract with a dating agency that I do not use. How do I get out of this situation. I was never verbally told that I could not get out of this contract. I assumed I could get out of it.

California has a statute governing dating service contracts. It is part of the Civil Code, sections 1694 to 1694.4. Way too long to quote here, but easy to look up on line or at a library. Try typing search terms California Civil Code 1694 into Google.

Assume away. Contracts are created and intended to be ENFORCEABLE. Read the contract, it describes your rights and remedies. If they have actually breached the Contract, it may provide grounds for termination of the contract, if done properly.
