Legal Question in Business Law in California
Ad not published
The yellow page people failed to publish my ad in this years book.
I've had an ad in this book for the past 35 years and it's my main source of advertising. This failure to publish will be devastating to my business.
I did confirm the proofs and the contract.
Do I have any recourse?
Thank You.

Re: Ad not published
Yes, you have rights defined by your contract with them; read the fine print. Unfortunately, you're going to find that they will likely offer you only a refund and maybe a free insert next year. Everything is negotiable, so do your best. There is no way of 'redoing' this year's book, of course, so you're out of luck until next year.
