Legal Question in Business Law in California

AOL service

I have been, unwittingly, paying $25.90 a month for AOL online service for 4 years. I probably forgot to cancel it when I moved from NV. It has been automatically deducted from my checking account every month and even when my ATM card changed from Visa to Mastercard last year they still charged my new card. I just discovered that I hadn't canceled, spoke with AOL and they gave me a credit for three months, even though there has been no activity on my AOL account for 4 years. Do I have any recourse?

Re: AOL service

If you don't have proof of cancellation, you take what you get by negotiation with them.

Re: AOL service

What did AOL do wrong? Should they monitor the non use any more than we should monitor our charges? I think it would be a tough case.
