Help you out? Happy to. If you two can't work out a mutually acceptable settlement by yourselves, you'll probably need to defend the civil and criminal actions that he may bring. If you're experienced in civil litigation and/or criminal defense in court, you won't need legal help. If not, then you should hire an attorney who can do so effectively. That attorney may be able to negotiate a private resolution of the problems before they get out of hand with lawsuits and criminal charges that will cost you substantial fees. Feel free to contact me if serious about doing so.

We are business advisers and litigators. There are various things your former partner could be doing to help himself and hurt you, tax and liability wise. We need some further detail, however. Feel free to email or call us so that we can discuss your particular situation and give you more precise counseling. Whatever you do, you should speak to a lawyer before communicating any further with your former partner and before your partner executes whatever his plan is.
