i have a breach of written contract with a preneed cemetery burial. they now tell me they cannot honor the written contract due to a crippled economy. what do i do?

A breach of contract can be the basis of a suit for refund of money and damages, or one for specific performance. If it is under $7500 you could sue for refund in small claims court. Specific performance would have to be in Superior Court. If the amount in question is enough to justify hiring an attorney, feel free to contact me. It might be possible to use the threat of suit to convince them to honor the contract. Such resolution would be less expensive that suing.
