Broken Contract/Reimbursment

We applied to become a service provider with a company. We were appoved and billed for there fee. We provided service to a client already and have 2 more scheduled. We are also about to receive a service contract from one of there major clients. We received the call from one of there managers that we were going to be kicked out of the network becuase during the registration process they made a mistake and were not supposed to allow us to join. We have incurred expenses because of this acceptance, we have hired new employees based on this contract we were going to receive, both employment expense and administrative expenses. Could we sue for damages and reimbursment of said expences based on this?

Of course you can sue. Whether you can win is up to the admissible provable facts and evidence. If you've got memos and other evidence of the 'deal', you could succeed. Sounds like you do. You should consult with counsel to determine that. Feel free to contact me if serious about pursuing this.

At first glance it sounds as if your case may be a promising one provided of course that you did not know or have reason to know of the mistake that was made by the other party. As with any lawsuit, the outcome is driven more by what you can prove rather than what happened, so no case is a slam dunk. If you have a signed contract, that will be crucial.
