Legal Question in Business Law in California
I have a business idea that I am going to try to get financiers involved with, and am wonderig the best way to protect my idea while having these meetings? I have an NDA, but are there other forms that would be more common for first meetings?
Thanks.

The other attorney is right on point here. NDA's are the norm, but you should also carefully limit what is discussed at the meetings. Consult with a good business attorney in your area for a specific approach and a good NDA before holding any meeting.

yes, a carefully drafted NDA, specific to your situation.
