credit cards and spouse
My wife has a credit card, she says i am not on it. She works for a start up bio-tech co. She spent 25K on her 'personal card' for an 'emergency' computer system, for co. use. Said co. card wouldn't go that high. Would I be liable if bio co. failed to pay?

If it is in her name, the bills are community property.

The community is liable for debts contracted by either spouse, with exceptions that aren't applicable here. The lender (credit card company) doesn't know the purpose of the charge, and doesn't care, and shouldn't be charged with responsibility for figuring out why charges are being made.
