Legal Question in Business Law in California
I have a customer that refuses to pay for for a load of alfalfa, total amount due is $4677.00 and their property is up for sale which form do i need to place a lien on property so i can get payment. My e-mail address is [email protected]

I do not believe there is any lien you can place on the property for delivery of feed. There is a lien you can place on the milk if the feed was for dairy cattle. That is the only lien that seems it might apply to your situation. If it does, you file with the Secretary of State. I am not aware of any form. The Secretary of State may be able to help.

You'll get a 'lien' on the property only if and when you sue and win judgment. Do it quickly in small claims court before the property is sold.
