Legal Question in Business Law in California

Employer Non Payment

I have worked for a company for the last 4 years. I currently have about 200 thousand in unpaid money. I was wondering what I can do.

Re: Employer Non Payment

You can either bring a lawsuit or file a labor board complaint. We can review your documentation to advise you on the best way you can proceed. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Re: Employer Non Payment

If you are an employee you can go through the labor board first. If you are not an employee, then you will need to file a lawsuit. Sounds like this is not a simple, straight-forward employee who has not gotten paid for work performed.

My office is in Westlake Village, but I live in Moorpark if you would like to give a call and discuss your options.

Re: Employer Non Payment

Pray.

After that, you could file suit if you've already reached a dead end with the company. That assumes you don't intend to continue working without pay for them, and assumes they have the money to pay you anything. If they are insolvent, meaning they have nothing, then nothing is what you're going to get from suit or negotiations.

Feel free to contact me if you think there is any hope for collecting, if you're serious about getting the legal help you'll need.
