Legal Question in Business Law in California
employment
I finished working at a summer camp
in south Orange County California
roughly three weeks ago. I worked
9-12 hrs. a day, four days a week
with what my boss called ''working
breaks''; we also were never given
any 15 min. breaks. I still have NOT
received my last paycheck. It's
almost been three weeks and I'm
leaving to go to college in a few days.
What should I do?

Re: employment
Before you leave, file a claim with the State Labor Commissioner, Department of Labor Standards enforcement. They will handle everything for free.

Re: employment
File a complaint with the Labor Commissioner. If you need legal help with the hearings and trial [if it gets to that], feel free to contact me.
