Legal Question in Business Law in California
Is there a way to legally get rid of a business partner even though there are some lucrative deals that are in the pipeline? Just don't want to work with this partner anymore. I don't mind paying him from these future deals (even though he doesn't deserve it), but I want him gone. He is a drunk and he is a worthless individual.
We did form a corporation together and just obtained an office with a one year lease. What should I do?

Get rid o...?.
You can buy him out at some agreed price and payment schedule, or you can agree to dissolve the company and split up the assets, etc. If he won't agree to anything you can sue to dissolve and distribute assets, but that will cost legal fees and time. If serious about getting legal help in negotiating and getting proper agreements drafted, feel free to contact me.
