Legal Question in Business Law in California
I own the Miss Icon Organization LLC (beauty pageant). There is another pageant director who is blatently stealing my original promotional and marketing ideas. She follows me on social media sites, so she is aware of what my business is doing. Is there a way to stop her from stealing my ideas?

Yes, you can hire an attorney to send her a cease and desist letter. I have done many of these and charge a flat rate fee of $500.
If you are interested, please feel free to contact me for a free, no obligation 20 minute telephone conference in which we can discuss whether this option would be worth pursuing.

If you are willing to file suit over your intellectual property rights, you can seek a restraining order if you have proper legal grounds for it. If serious about hiring counsel for this, feel free to contact me.
Ideas per say are not protectable, unless they are (1) trade secrets (and not made public like on a website); (2) trademarks (using confusingly similar trademarks to yours); (3) copyrights (if she is just lifting your text onto her site); or patents (wherein your ideas have been incorporated into the claims of the patents).
