Legal Question in Business Law in California
Non-Disclosure Agreements
I have a business idea and I am planning on discussing it with a person who has the resources to make it a possibility without my further help. Would a non-disclosure agreement help me prevent my potential partner from cutting me out and starting the business on her own?

Re: Non-Disclosure Agreements
It would help a lot; it should cover non-discloure and non-circumvent. However, you are ultimately to some extent at the mercy of the ethical principles of the individual to whom you disclose your business idea. Thus the best advice is deal with folks you trust AND use an agreement.
