offer to ''Rent'' my credit cards
could this be a legitimate offer and what are the risks? Online offer to use my credit cards to shore up credit lines of businesses and compensate me in return. However the advertiser does not provide any information about himself except a phone number.

Re: offer to ''Rent'' my credit cards
The odds are at least 100-to-1 that this isn't legit. Further, even if it were legit, no one, no business, can shore up its credit using someone else's credit without in some way making it possible fir their creditor to tap into you upon their default.
Re: offer to ''Rent'' my credit cards
So, you're going to give permission to someone to run your credit card to max, who you don't know, and can't contact? And you ask if it is legitimate? Sure, it is legitimately a scam intended for naive people willing to be foolish.

Whaddayou, a complete idiot? As soon as you give out your credit card numbers it's off to the races!
Re: offer to ''Rent'' my credit cards
You know that this sounds too good to be true.
You know that the risk is your entire credit limit and credit history.
You know that you would never get compensated, and you know that you could never sue to get the money back.
You don't really need us to tell you that you should not share your credit card number with anonymous persons who admit that they are bad credit risks.
