not being paid
i entered into a oral agreement with a hotel owner to be paid 10% of all moneys recived by the hotel and have never been paid the owner accused me of take funds i did not take any money now for almost 1 yaer he has not paid me any money
what can i do about this

You may have the option of a lawsuit to recover the funds due you, but of course it may be difficult to prove any oral agreement.

You can bring a claim for unpaid compensation with the Labor Commissioner, and/or you can file civil suit. Either way, you must prove your claims, and oral contracts are tough. If they are accusing you of stealing, you will have to defend against that claim, and they could file criminal charges. Next time put the agreement in writing. That is what attorneys are for - to help people prevent this kind of dispute from happening.
