Paying sold A/R
What is the law regarding paying a company that has gone out of business and sold their A/R to a Collection Company? Is my agreement to pay limited to the company I did business with or does it transfer to the compnay that has bought their A/R?

You'll be sued if you don't pay them. Raise any defenses or offsets you have.
