Legal Question in Business Law in California
Are RICO cases much more complex?
I'm thinking about representing myself as the plaintiff in a fraud case. As, I understand it, if I file a civil RICO complaint, I can bring up past actions of the defendant that will help to show that the fraud was intentional and malicious. My question is this: Is RICO much more complex than filing a ''typical'' fraud complaint? In other words, is RICO too complex for a non-lawyer to mess with?

If you have a good case, you will be able to find a lawyer. You would be using poor judgment by attempting to represent yourself in any important legal matter. Watch out for legal time limits.
