Legal Question in Business Law in California
stockholders meeting
Hello,
I am still a stockholder in my former company.
I just heard they had a stockholders meeting last week and I wasn't invited or informed.
do I have any recourse?

Re: stockholders meeting
Yes, especially if they voted on anything of substance.
However, is it going to be a situation where they can just outvote you no matter what?
You are still entitled to proper notice and participation in the shareholder meetings.

Re: stockholders meeting
Yes.
Unless proper, statutory notice was provided nothing done at the meeting was valid.
The real question for you is why they did not invite or inform you of the meeting. It appears that there is a more fundamental problem here that needs to be addressed by you.
