Legal Question in Business Law in California
I am considering taking a job in which I would be the RME (Responsible Managing Employee) for my employer. What contractual safeguards are available to me? What are the risks in doing this? Is there anything specific the contract should state before I sign it? What compensation is average for this type of position?

No attorney can provide you an answer to such business specific questions without fully reviewing and discussing the facts and issues and parties expectations with you and the other side, unless all you want is the general advice to include proper legal language to cover all parties' representations, warranties, rights, duties, responsibilities, liabilities, ownership interests, terms and conditions for performance, breach, payments, salary, profits, losses, costs, termination, term, etc, etc. If you don't already have all those detailed terms worked out, then you need an experienced contracts attorney to represent you in doing so in order to then create the contract needed. There is no such thing as a 'form' for you, nor is there an 'average' anything. Now, if serious about hiring an attorney to do so, feel free to contact me for the legal help you need.
