Legal Question in Business Law in California

uncashed checks

I run a business that issues checks for services in the transportation industry. occasionally, drivers and companies do not cash their checks after they have invoiced me. Sometimes for months. Is there a legal limitation where after a period of time my liability for their poor accounts receivable is eliminated.

No. Only the statute of limitations on contract actions of four years. Just print the checks with an expire by date.
