Legal Question in Business Law in California
Unfair employee treatment
I was fired for missing work because of having seizures and was wondering if i had a case with them. I only missed work when i had seizures and was seen as an upstanding worker to all co-workers and immediate supervisors. The only reason they had for firing me was my seizures.

Re: Unfair employee treatment
IF your medical condition amounts to a legally defined 'disability', which it probably does, then you have to be reasonably accommodated on the job. They can not discriminate against you through adverse job action like termination, so long as you can do the essentials of your job with proper accommodation. Feel free to contact me to discuss your rights and remedies. I've been doing employment and discrimination law for over 20 years.

I would need more details before I could say, but you may have a very good case for wrongful discharge and for violation of various state and federal laws.
I can't claim to be an expert in this area but I do share office space with two of the state's foremost employment litigators and can put you in touch with them if your case still sounds good after you have answered some questions. Please feel free to contact me directly if you are interested.
