I am scared of what the penalty or consequences I face are? Could you help me?

the penalty is firing and/or being sued. Get an attorney to help you if they say they are going to do any such discipline or legal action. Feel free to contact me if that happens.

Re: Violation of an NDA form?

Well, DID you violate the NDA?

The first step here is to get out a copy of the NDA and re-read it very carefully.

Then, figure out who's on your side, and who isn't. Ask for assistance (advice, legal counsel) from whomever is on your side.

If you didn't do anything, think about how to prove that.

If you did something wrong by accident or without profit motive, you're probably OK in the long run, but there could be some tense moments.

Being sued successfully is unlikely unless you made a bunch of money, or gained some advantage. Lawsuits are motivated by two things: expectation of getting an award for money damages, and deterring your doing naughty things in the future. Money damages is the more powerful motivator. Lawsuits are expensive, especially where intellectual property such as trade secrets is the main theme.
