Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California
I attend mass at a catholic church. There is a couple, male and female that harrass and bully me in church to get me to leave. I have ignored them and they have been unsuccesful in coercing me out. I am actively involved in several parish ministries and this man and woman have spread rumors several times all with the hopes of discrediting me and defaming me. I have suffered physicall and emotionall from the continued unwelcomed harrassment. Prevously I was also employed at the Diocese of Orange and had to quit because of sexual harrassment advances. I also suffered emotional distress. I was looking to heal and recuperate being involved in my parish and now i find myself with this harmful and painful situation. How can proceed? I feel i need to do something since it is all interconnected. Sexual harrassment, harrassment and now violation of civial law?

If in fact you have been defamed which means that statements have been made about you which attribute to you criminal acts or moral turpitude, then you have a civil case for such. Contact me directly.
With proof of defamation and damage, you could take legal action against these people to get them to stop, and/or you could seek resolution through Christian counseling. Please feel free to contact me for help in either event.
