Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California
California Penal Code SEction 490.5 (b) (c)
A Civil Claim is being filed against me
under cal. penal code section 490.5
(b) (c). From what i understand they
can only pursue me if I stole
something from the store and I
didn't. My friends were the ones

How can I go about this situation?

Re: California Penal Code SEction 490.5 (b) (c)
You understand wrong. Anyone alleged to be participating in such 'conspiracy' can be criminally charged and civilly sued. I've handled felony conspiracy charges filed against all defendants in such cases, where only misdemeanor charges would apply if you were acting alone. Your 'help' will come with hiring an attorney to represent you and effectively present your defenses, whatever they may be. If serious about doing so, feel free to contact me.
