Child assault at school

Our 5 year old son has been having problems with another child at school. It has ranged from verbal attacks to physical harm. Nothing has been done about it. What legal actions can we take?

Re: Child assault at school

Submit to the school a written complaint and demand for remedy, detailing the facts. You have a right to bring legal action against the other child's parents, and possibly the school if the facts are sufficient, but that is not an effective tool for anything other than to leverage and force them to exercise proper supervision and control.
