Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

To have your court records removed from public view is it better to have them sealed or factual innocence.Witch one takes longer or cost more to do.This has to do with a restraining order that was dismissed.Would like to off my record and the person I gave the restraining order to.

IF you could get a finding of factual innocence from the court, and have the DOJ records changed to reflect that, then they could be sealed and destroyed, which would be the best of all worlds. Getting such finding is tough to do. IF you have overwhelming evidence to show there was NO basis for the charges, then you have a chance. If serious about pursuing this, feel free to contact me to discuss costs.
