I am being sued by someone who said that we had a verble contract that I would give this person %70 of an event that I have been working on for 3 years . It never happened.

Re: Events
Anyone can sue for anything. Whether they will win is another story. If you did all the work and you procured the event, then you might have proof that you were the sole generator of income. The court or trier of fact will weigh your and the other person's credibility, so you should be armed with all the proof you can muster to support your position.

Can he? He did, didn't he?
Your response is to defend it on the facts and law. He has to prove his case. Hire local counsel to do this right. Now is not the time to 'play lawyer' for yourself.
