Excessive Force By A Police Officer
What legal recourse - [and what are my chancees of success] - do I have when I was subjected to excessive force by a police officer who admitted he knocked me down in the process of arresting me. I am considering pursing a civil rights law suit.

Re: Excessive Force By A Police Officer
You can file a Govt Claim and follow it with a lawsuit. Winning will require a showing and proof to a legal standard that he willfully exceeded his authority and violated your rights. Unlikely given your statement.
