Re: filing complaint

Lawyers are not going to care whether you have a warrant, you can hire one to file an assault complaint. But what are you going to do about your warrant, be a fugitive forever? Depending on your circumstances there's a good chance you could walk back out the front door of the courthouse, if you play your cards right.

If you appear in court, yes you will likely be arrested. If you have a valid civil claim, hire an attorney to file it. You need to properly deal with the warrant by voluntarily going to court, as you'll be taken into custody and transported to the court if at any time you come in contact with police or government agencies. Obviously you should have an attorney represent you. Feel free to contact me if serious about either problem.
