Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

IRS Regulation code

What is this I keep hearing about the American People not required by law to pay taxes because of something to do with the 16th ammendment? I have gone thorugh various websites and read articles published by the New York Times that seem to add credence to this. Could you please inform me of any kind of information you might have about this matter? Thank you so much for your prompt responce.

There are lots of interesting arguments made by the so-called tax protesters, but the courts have invariably rejected them. You certainly would not want to do anything that would cause you to be viewed by the IRS as a tax protester -- that would be like painting a bullseye on your tuchus.

Dream on. Many people taking that position in 'real life' are currently in federal prison for tax evasion. The people promoting it are delusional whack jobs or scam artists taking money for 'seminars' on how to do it.
