You can generally send it UPS or FedEx insured, not USPS, and have it returned the same way. However, that is not a guarantee that Big Brother won't e-ray it and decide you are wrong in doing so, and create legal problems for you. Remember, we now live in an anti-gun federal and state environment. You can avoid that risk by using an FFL on both legs of the transportation. That creates a problem of whether the FFL has to log it in, and require you to do a 4473 form to get it back after it is retrurned. Talk to the FFL before making your decision.

PART TWO: forgot to tell you to call the manufacturer and ask their policy. If they will return to you by UPS or FedEx, that is part of your decision.
