Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California
loan
I took out a loan with a cash call place mainly to help out a friend. He told me when I got the loan that he would make monthly payments to me and I haven't received anything from him. We didn't have anything in writing but I do have text messages from him saying he will pay me back. Should I get a civil suit? cause that seems to be the only way to get the money back.

Re: loan
Why didn't you tell him to take out his own loan? Because he has bad credit? How do you think he got bad credit? By not paying back loans. So you used poor judgment and yes, you will have to sue him, but you knew that from the beginning.
