Transcript of Audio Discovery

Can I demand a written transcript of audio discovery at defendant's expense?

Three audio files total of 2hrs.

Opposing Counsel and Defendant's are both very financially sound.

You can serve a discovery requests for any certified (i.e. by a court reporter) transcripts they may have, which they probably do, otherwise you can pay to have them transcribed yourself.

Generally, no, discobvery copy costs are borne by the requester, though you may review the audio.
