My company bugged my Instant Messenger. Can they legally do this without letting me know and can they use it against me?

It's not "your" computer, but the company's. You have no legal right or expectation of privacy on it. Yes, they can use the information. Even with all that, it they threaten to discipline or terminate you, feel free to contact me for legal help in defending the situation. Everything in life is negotiable.
