privacy
my ex wife is taping all our phone conversations with no intent other than trying to get more custody of our children. she does not have my consent. anything i can do?

The practical solution is to quit talking to your wife and/or to avoid saying things that would jeopardize your custody of the children.
If she is doing this secretly, then she is probably violating wiretapping laws and the evidence should be excluded in any court hearings.

how do you know she is taping your confidential phone communications exactly? if you have not given her express or implied consent to make such tapings of your phone calls, you have BOTH civil and criminal remedies available to you, in which you could easily sue her under the privacy act and/or have her fined or prosecuted for such illegal conduct based on your facts given. if you would like further legal assistance and/or representation in this matter, and have evidence to support your claims, please email me directly with more specific details of your case today.

If you know she's taping because she discloses it in the conversation, then its not done secretly, which is illegal. If it is secret, she can't use the tapes or information without risking criminal and civil charges.
