Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

puppy

i bought a puppy from a breeder which

died 2 days later. the critical needs of

puppy were never disclosed, such as

feeding every 4 hours and the need for

super warmth. the puppy froze and

went into hypoglycimic shock and later

died. the breeder offered to replace

puppy if i paid shipping. i am left with a

bill of $400 for vet and burial. what are

my rights?
