Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California
I received a jury summons from the Superior Court of California, County of Orange. Am I required by law to answer the juror affidavit questionnaire? Can I follow all the other instructions without responding to the juror affidavit questionnaire?

Do you really think the legal system, meaning the COURT, that enforces laws, would require something they weren't capable of compelling you to do? Answer their questions and do your civil duty without making problems for yourself.
Yes, you need to respond to the questionnaire. You need to obey the summons and report to jury duty as required. It is one of the few civil obligations imposed upon our time, and it is necessary to protect one of our most important civil rights -- the trial by jury. It is critical that everyone do their part.
