Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California
I am renting a room in a house in California. My Landlord does not like my girlfriend and has stated to me that she is not allowed at the house at all. He also stated that I have to except it or move out. The Landlord and I have a 3 to 6 month lease signed, with nothing in it concerning guest of mine. What legal rights do I have?

To your personal use of the room, subject to you complying with all the conditions of the 'lease'. Read them. Renting a room is not like renting a house or apt. You are not the 'king of the castle' in a room in someone's home. Your name alone is there as the tenant.
