I need to know how to re-open a case or get in to see a judge on a case that is already pending. I have a collection company claiming that they sumuse me and never received any paperwork about this case that they claim I did not show up too. Now they have suspended my drivers license and I need to go through the courts to get this re-instated plus plee my part of the case. Can you please help me with this?

Re: Re-Open a Case

Unfortunately alot of unscrupulous collection agencies try this procedural "trick" in trying to get quick default judgments against their debtors. If you can let us know the date the default judgment was entered against you, as well as if the matter was adjudicated in small claims court or superior, we can give you valuable assistance hereafter. You may be able to immediately have the judgment vacated or set aside period under the circumstances. contact us directly for assistance.

You will have to file a motion to set aside a default judgment with the court, with appropriate pleadings and supporting documentation. If that is granted, then the DMV will get corrected. You probably need experienced counsel to do this timely and properly; contact me if interested in discussing the facts and costs of doing so.
