Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

Revealing settlement offer

Thanks for your response Mr.Terry Nelson. I actually framed the question wrongly. I have got a notice from one party for revealing a failed settlement OFFER to the press after the decision of the case( which was in my favor). Now, do i have any law which is against me or protects me?.. Thanks alot for your help.

Re: Revealing settlement offer

Probably not. Nor does he likely have any to support him, unless there was some kind of confidentiality agreement or court gag order in place covering that offer. Look at the lawsuit to see what he claims. Neither my opinion, nor yours, matters until informed by research and review of all the facts and documents. If you've been sued, you either defend it or concede. Doing the review and research to prepare your Answer or applicable Motions, may or may not convince you he is right and that you should settle. If serious about getting counsel, and if this is in SoCal, feel free to contact me.
