Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

Satute of limitations for bills

We received a bill from an engineer for services rendered. We never did receive a quote from him. One of the bills was for services rendered from 1991-1993. The other is for a bill dated for services rendered from 2002-2006. Are we responsible for these?

Re: Satute of limitations for bills

IF he did work for you, any claim older than 4 years is barred by statute of limitations. The most recent would qualify. Contact him and try to sort it out, before he tries to file suit. If sued, you have defenses: you didn't get work from him.
