Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

sexual harassment

My ex employer hired a investigstor but i have heard nothing.I also filed with fair housing board but they overwhelmed and wont get back to me for a few months..DO I HAVE to wait for a right to sue letter or can my attorney file something....???

You can ask for an immediate right-to-sue letter. However, no investigation will be conducted. You would have one year from the date of its issuance to file your lawsuit.

If you have a legitimate sexual harassment claim, all you have to do is FILE with DFEH and get a right to sue letter from them, which your attorney can use to file the lawsuit.
