Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

My son who is 18 just rececived a letter in the mail. Its says that a crimanl complaint has been filed of a committed violation of PC594(A)(1),PC594(A)(1)and PC594(A)(1), a misdemenor(s). He has to go to court on these charges. He has no priors. He has no ties to any gangs. He made the wrong choice that night. Could you please advise us what we need to do before we go to court in Dec.

There is nothing to do, other than hire an attorney if you intend to. The attorney will discuss the evidence, his defenses, any motions that may be available, plea bargain and trial strategy, etc. If serious about getting him legal defense, feel free to contact me. If he can't afford private counsel, then apply for the public defender at that court hearing.
