This reminds me of a case I had long ago with a gasoline trucking company that each month would designate one of its drivers to drive the Pink Truck. Essentially the forced wearing of orange shorts, which I presume is some kind of disciplinary action, is a violation of your son's civil rights, more so if he is in a public school, and especially if the punishment is a manifestation of prejudice against his actual or perceived sexual orientation or actual or perceived disability. If the period of punishment has not yet commenced tell them to go pound sand; and in any event see a civil rights attorney in your locality. Watch out for legal time limits.
