Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California
My State of California drivers license has been suspended for non-payment of child support. Can I use the US Constitutions Right to Travel as a defense if pulled over?

It has generally been determined that the act of driving is a "privilege" and is not a right, except that you may have a right to visit other states, but that does not give you the right to drive on the roads without a validly isued state's driver's license.

Nice try. No brass ring. If caught, you face misdemeanor driving on a suspended license, with potential jail time.
