Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California
was stopped at a check point ran my name and it said i had a warrant on afelony charge was detained they later found out it was not me but someone who has the same name the judge said he was so very sorry and i got released it was scary and embarassing can i sue?

You can at least get a note from the judge so's it doesn't happen again.

No. Instead, try to clear up the records with DMV and the courts. They can make a notation about the situation.
